This much-needed vehicle enhances medical transport, particularly for mothers and children in the remote rural areas surrounding the hospital.

Previously, the medical teams at Afshar Hospital faced challenges relying on a single ambulance for all patient transports, including encountering delays due to necessary repairs and maintenance. With the support of global nonprofit, MSF, a second ambulance now allows Afshar Hospital to expand its capacity and extend its healthcare services to the surrounding areas.

This latest development strengthens an existing partnership between MSF, AMOR Afghanistan Health Organization (AAHO), and Afshar Hospital.
