A young mother’s life was saved at AMOR’s Afshar Hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan after she experienced severe complications during childbirth. Thanks to the medical team’s immediate response, what began as a critical situation ended with a healthy and happy mom and baby.

Shortly after giving birth, this patient unexpectedly began experiencing severe pain, bleeding and seizures. Afshar Hospital staff acted quickly, providing emergency care and performing surgery to save her life. After several intense hours, their efforts paid off and the patient’s condition was finally stabilized.
