UCSF Fresno brings healthcare to Mendota

Since the closing of Madera Community Hospital Clinic at the AMOR Wellness health center, hundreds of residents have lost their healthcare providers and have defaulted to other health clinics left in the small rural town. AMOR understands that healthcare is an essential service for agricultural workers and residents living in rural communities of Fresno County. UCSF Fresno and AMOR Wellness have partnered to bring their Rural Mobile Health Program, a mobile medical clinic designed to bring healthcare services to local communities where it is needed most. UCSF Fresno provides health screenings, primary care services, COVID-19 services, and prescription medication refills free of charge! We are proud to be partnering with an amazing group of essential workers who are dedicated to building healthy communities worldwide!

Together, we are building healthy communities worldwide! Thank you for your support!

Donor Opportunities

2024 Thanks for Giving with AMOR

Mendota’s farming families work tirelessly to put food on our tables, yet, as the harvest season ends, many struggle to secure food for their own families.

With your support, AMOR can provide 300 families with 60-pound boxes of nutritious food for a bountiful Thanksgiving.

Every $100 donation gives one family a complete Thanksgiving box.

Your gift, big or small, makes a direct impact.
