FedEx and AMOR Deliver Backpacks to Over 330 Students in Rural West Fresno County

More than 330 students in Mendota, Firebaugh, Cantua Creek, and Tranquility started the school year with brand-new backpacks thanks to the generosity of Fresno FedEx employees.

FedEx employees, including drivers who deliver to rural West Fresno schools, came together to purchase backpacks for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Each backpack was filled with essentials like notebooks, binders, pencils, glue sticks, and colored pencils, with supplies chosen to match the needs of each grade level.

Local schools worked with AMOR to help identify the students in need who would benefit most. Earlier this week, FedEx and AMOR delivered the backpacks directly to the schools, making it easy and convenient for students to receive.

AMOR extends its gratitude to FedEx and the participating schools for their commitment to supporting students and families in rural West Fresno County.
