AMOR is so proud to share how we provided candy, delicious hot dogs, and resource information to over 300 youth and 150 adults during our 1st Annual Trunk or Treat at the AMOR Wellness Center!
Thanks to Fresno County Department of Public Health and AMOR’s medical volunteers, COVID-19 vaccinations were administered to 20 community members as well. Centro La Familia, the lead agency in this event, secured the funding that offered food, drinks, and amazing prizes. Our lucky raffle and costume contest winners took home bikes, gift cards, and piñatas.
AMOR is so thankful for all our partners who came together to make this event possible. Agency participants included Binational of Central CA, California Farm Workers Foundation, City of Mendota, Crescent View West, Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission, Fresno EOC Head Start, Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, Fresno County Department of Social Services, Girl Scouts of Central California South, Madera Community Hospital Family Health Services, Marjaree Mason Center, and the Mendota Police Department.
The AMOR team looks forward to collaborating with local agencies to host many more fun and informative events for our west Fresno County families!
