AMOR Distributes 240 Boxes of Food to Seniors in Mendota

AMOR is so proud to share that we delivered 240 boxes of heart-healthy food to seniors living in Mendota during this quarter! The Senior Hunger Initiative program, created by the Central California Food Bank, aims to help alleviate food insecurity among one of our most vulnerable populations in our Valley through monthly food box deliveries.

We were inspired by Janet Andermatt, property manager at Midland Manor Apartments in Mendota. Janet shared that the program has had a positive impact, not just on her and her husband, but on her residents as well. The program helps her residents who have a limited income and don’t have a large budget for spending on food. She also shares some of her own food with new residents who are moving in and don’t have much.

AMOR is so excited to continue helping our seniors in need this next quarter!
