25 organizations and agencies gather at the AMOR Wellness Center for an Indigenous Sensitivity Seminar

The AMOR Wellness Center, in collaboration with Centro Unidad Popular Benito Juarez (CUPBJ), is thrilled to present our first-ever Indigenous Cultural Awareness & Sensitivity Seminar. CUPBJ’s mission is to advocate for indigenous people’s health, housing, and basic human rights. They provide unparalleled assistance to the most vulnerable and low-income families marginalized or discriminated against due to their language, culture, and traditions.

More than 25 different organizations and agencies attended the Indigenous Cultural Awareness & Sensitivity Seminar! This seminar encouraged the support of diversity, equity, and inclusion in a compassionate format. The AMOR Wellness Center looks forward to hosting future workshops and seminars focused on crucial topics for organizations and agencies that work with the West Fresno County population.
